Sprouting Directions
DIRECTIONS FOR 3 DAY SPROUTS
- SOAK – Put 3 to 5 Tbsp seed in a wide mouth jar. Cover with mesh and secure with a rubber band. Add water, swirl and drain. Add 1 cup cool water and soak 4-8 hours.
- RINSE – Twice a day, refill jar with cool water, swirl and drain. Invert jar and prop at an angle in a sink or bowl.
- ENJOY – Ready to use 2 – 3 days. Refrigerate to store.
DIRECTIONS FOR GROWING SPELT GRASS
- SOAK – Soak seed in water for 4 – 8 hrs. Drain. Spread two layer deep in the bottom of a sprouting tray with drainage holes.
- RINSE – Rinse or mist twice a day, carefully at first so you don’t disturb the seed until the roots catch onto the tray. Cover between rinses. For darker green leaves cover with clear plastic.
- ENJOY – Ready to cut and juice in 9 to 12 days.
