Preparation
- 1. Sprout your chickpeas for 2-3 days. Give your chickpeas a final rinse and cover with fresh water in a large pot. Bring to a boil on high heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes—until tender but not mushy. Drain and let cool completely before using
- 2. Blend everything except chocolate chips in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Stir in chocolate chips by hand. Spoon into ice cube trays, or silicone molds. Freeze until solid (2-4 hours), then remove from molds and store frozen in an airtight container. Let sit 2-3 minutes before enjoying for best texture.
