Excellent blend - but it does contain an occasional hard unbreakable peas, (greean pea that doesnt sprout or soften with soaking). Love the mix though, just keep in mind, chew slowly and carefully to avoid cracking a tooth

You will love these guys as a topping on any salad. Haven't tried them as a sub for just mung beans in chow mein yet. Mumms mail service was fast and efficient as always.

Wonderful Mix

  • By: Douglas Purcell Verified Buyer from Prince Albert, AK CA on April 7, 2016
  • Pros: The Flavor
  • Cons: Have to double the time suggested as i use a sack and 1/2 to 3/4 cup. not really a con, just a little more patience
  • Best uses: By Itself
  • Describe Yourself: Healthy Lifestyle

Crunchy Bean Mix is delicious. Eat this blend by itself too. Like to ensure getting fresh greens in our cold climate. Using the burlap sack, i find i need to wait a 5-6 days as spout 3/4 cup at a time

The bean mix sprouted very quickly and had lots of great flavour and texture. I plan to grow some for my grade one class to track, observe, and sample.
