Beautiful

  • By: LetYourFoodBeYourMedicine Verified Buyer from Hendersonville, NC US on February 5, 2016
  • Pros: The Appearance
  • Cons: None. Tender, tasty and white. No brown roots.
  • Best uses: In a Salad
  • Describe Yourself: Healthy Lifestyle

I have bought mung beans from my health food store for years and sprouted them and wondered why they looked dingy and had brownish roots compared to sprouts sold commercially. Well they must be a different strain because when I sprouted these, the roots were white and tender and looked like those in the little plastic containers. Be sure to sprout in the dark because they will taste bitter otherwise. Am very happy with these and will order again.
