My cat loves this grass!

Since I discovered this website, I've been buying wheat grass seeds for my cat, who absolutely loves to eat it. Usually, he is chomping away at it when it's barely sprouting out of the ground so I now have to keep it hidden from him until it's at least 3-4 inches tall before I give it to him. It grows very quickly. I usually grow it in a sprout tray for about 2 - 3 days, then I transplant the little seedlings into a pot of indoor potting mix. It really sprouts quickly after that. Within 5-6 days, the sprouts are 1-2 inches tall. Great seeds!

The best wheat grass juice

I have tried different wheat berries in the past and find that mumms wheatberries give me the best growth. It is tall, lush, green and I don't have any mold problems. I did have some fruit flies but placed a fan a few feet away on low. They don't like it when the grass Russells back-and-forth and they simply go away. The taste of the juice is the light and sweet. Nothing like the taste of the "shots" you get from some juice bars"

Wheat, Hard Red Spring

  • By: Chuckles Verified Buyer from Gatineau, QC CA on September 4, 2015
  • Pros: The Appearance
  • Cons: I never know if I will receive a good batch of seeds or not.

Happy to say the wheat sprouted well and grew well. Be aware that this is not always the case. I used buy 5 kg at a time, but sometimes received wheat that did not sprout well and as a result grew sparse looking grass. I regularly drink wheat grass juice and have grown wheat grass successfully for over a year now. After I wasted 5kg of seeds that were not good, I decided to only buy in small amounts so that there will would less waste if the seeds are not good.

I began growing wheatgrass for juicing purposes and have been using Mumm's for a few months now. I find the wheat berries are very good quality, provide even growth and the best of all, no mold growth, so very pleased with this organic product. I had a few questions for them and they responded and answered all queries via email promptly - great customer service. I will continue to order from this company for sure!

I'm not eating this product. It is for my cats, who love it, especially in the winter when they can't get grass outside. It grows very quickly and I am happy to feed my cats pesticide free grass.
