I find its a bit crazy at first to order chickpeas. but I've been having problems sprouting chick peas I've been purchasing locally from the grocery store or even the health food stores. These sprout very well, with no trouble and are very tasty. So it was totally worth it. Must try a sprouted chick pea - sprouted sesame hummus, its the best

The beans are very mild and sweet tasting; not like the ones that are sprayed with chemicals. I pre-soaked them in ACV for 24 hours which helps them cook faster. They were soft and tender and moist in my "Garbanzo A La King" vegetarian meal.
